The Truth of Bouts
Did you know that you no longer have to go to a gym for an hour or more at a time? The minimum recommendation for how long you should train is thirty minutes a day, three to five times a week, at a vigorous to moderate intensity. So, did you know that you no longer have to exercise all the time? You can now workout for three ten minute bouts, three different times in your day. This is called "Bout Training!"
Not only does exercising in bouts provide many of the same benefits of continuous exercise, such as, an increase in aerobic fitness and weight loss. In fact, it's said that shorter bouts have more benefits in terms of long-term adherence to exercise. How many of you have skipped on exercise because of how long you ponder about being in the gym? Not only does bout training do all of this for you, but it can be done in a shorter amount of time
